The waitress smiles her pretty
Smile as she fills my cup
Where would country music be

and the Bluebird Café?
A great starting point
That has launched many
a singer to Stardom.
What is happening here?
Restless, I look around
and wonder who is next?
What is the new Nashville
Sound that will emerge
from this small stage?
What is happening here?
Without a sound,
I watch the eager eyes
of the singers
waiting in the wings...waiting
anxiously...waiting.
