With a historic church nearby
The luncheon special seemed ideal
For my wife and I to try.
She had fish, and I the pasta
’Twas spaghetti bolognese
With bread and chese, and olives too
Which I’ll remember, all my days.
The yellow trolley cars went by
All filled with happy faces.
I smiled and waved, and they did too
In this loveliest of places!
Lisbon is very hilly and is famous for its picturesque streetcars.
