Djurgården

Ash Dean

Djurgården lilt, pervading call
That beckons rest unto the holm,
We rail to coast among the thrall
Divine within a joyful roam
Like blossom cast beneath the oak,
Astray yet set in idyll pose.
Repose belates the ushered cloak,
A breach from which our peace arose,
Here turn to find me sleeping sound
With Sophie reading Night and Day
Then turn again but all around
To see the Saltsjön life at play.
The never dark and evergreen
Can live in truth and stay serene.
