Petroglyphs

 Petroglyphs:
 Anasazi riffs
 in clefts
 on cliffs.

The Anasazi or Puebloans were the original inhabitants of the land that is now the Navajo Nation, around the intersection of the states of Colorado, Arizona, Utah and New Mexico.

The name Anasazi is actually a Navajo word meaning "ancient enemy", so they are now known as "Puebloans".

They have left many traces in ancient rock art and settlements built into the caves and cliffs of the dramatic rock formations of the American south-west.
