Detroit-Tinged Sky

Windsor, Ontario is a city of roses
with delicious Arabic eats
along shady streets
filled with dodgy old men
quoting William Butler Yeats
while sweating autoworkers
earn their motor burgers
and pigeons fly
under a Detroit-tinged sky.
