Leckhampton Chimney has fallen down

Leckhampton Chimney is an unusual rock formation - a pillar of stone known as the Devil's Chimney - on Leckhampton Hill. It has not fallen down. Nor has Severn changed course- much!

There are many legends about the formation of the Devil's Chimney, but the most likely explanation is that it is man-made. The theory is that it was left by quarry workers who worked around it.
