Poems by Alistair Elliot (1932)

Alistair Elliot was born in Liverpool. He went to school at Fettes in Edinburgh and to University at Christ Church College, Oxford. He has translated Euripides, Heine and a selection of French Love Songs. He has also written much poetry of his own. His poems have appeared in many reviews and his personal collections include Turning the Stones, The Real Poems and On the Appian Way. He lives in Newcastle.
