Poems by Edith Wharton (1862 - 1937)

Edith Wharton is more famous as a novelist and short story writer than a poet. She was born in New York and lived most of her life in New England. She travelled regularly to Europe and in eventually moved there for good in 1911. She settled in France and during the First World War spent a lot of time at the front. She died and is buried in France.
